Markham Vale, Bolsover/Chesterfield a 200 acre former coalfield site subject to a £50m reclamation by Derbyshire County Council for future development by Henry Boot Developments Ltd. The site straddles the M1 motorway and will benefit from a dedicated J29a junction due to be opened in June 2008. Freehold/leasehold plots are expected to become available for B1, 2 and 8 projects from July 2008.

Chesterfield Waterfront is an exciting new collaboration between Bolsterstone plc, Arnold Laver and Chesterfield Borough Council to regenerate 40 acres of land between the A61 and Midland Mainline just north of Chesterfield Station. Mansfield and Ashfield A number of development sites have been made available along the route of a 15 km relief road bisecting the 2 towns which together have a population of over 200,000 and have seen significant developer and end-user investment over last few years. The sites lie within 5 miles from M1 J28 and are suitable for a number of commercial uses. Immediately adjacent to M1 J28 Wilson Bowden plc has its 120 acre Castlewood site where a range of units for B1,2 and 8 uses will be constructed.
