Markham Vale Environment Centre

Markham Vale Environment Centre is located around 6 miles from Chesterfield town centre and train station and less than 40 miles from Nottingham East Midlands Airport. Direct access on to the M1 will be a major advantage when J29a is constructed during 2006.  The centre has 12 units of 75 sq ms (including a mezzanine area) and 2 workshop units of 109 sq ms for rent to businesses preferably operating in the energy or enironmental technologies field.  Each unit has individual lockable access, security, car parking, wood fuel heating, telephone and data power points.  A hot desk facility is also available. The centre also offers virtual office adminstrative services, training and conference rooms and access to business support networks.  The building has been constructed in a sustainable and environmentally efficient manner having a roof-mounted wind turbine, wood-fired heating boiler, solar panels and a "grey" water recycling facility.
