Mansfield's Newest Grade-A Business Development Launches with its First Deal in the Bag

The highly anticipated i2 office and workspace development at Mansfield's Oakham Business Park was launched last week and has already secured its first new tenant to the scheme.

 

i2 is the latest high quality business space development to enter the Mansfield market place and was launched by Executive Mayor Tony Egginton. The scheme was developed by Network Space Ltd, a joint venture between Langtree and English Partnerships.

 

The new occupier, a Mansfield company, has taken a 1,688 sq ft workspace unit at the site to accommodate its continuing growth.

 

Helen Bazzant, senior property manager for Network Space, said: "This stunning, office development is generating a lot of interest and leading the way in Mansfield - it's raising the bar and providing top quality offices from 1,585 to 5,000 sq ft and high technology workspace units from 1,668 to 3,089 sq ft for occupiers in Mansfield. The development is supported by £1,058,000 million from the European Regional Development Fund and has received from the British Research Establishment at (BREEAM) sustainability rating of 'very good' for the 34,500 sq ft office building and an 'excellent' rating for its 16,000 sq ft of high technology workspace units.

 

Phil Quiggin, from Lambert Smith Hampton's Nottingham office is the instructed agent on the scheme, added: "We have already received a high volume of enquiries from occupiers of the i-Centre and small to medium size companies which have expressed interest in locating to the site. The offer of secure, high quality office space and workspace units is attracting a lot of attention."
